Graduate Studies

Texas A&M University at Qatar will soon begin offering masters degree programs in the following areas:

Chemical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Petroleum Engineering

Degree programs will be materially the same as those offered at Texas A&M University with particular attention given to the needs of the Gulf Region.  Three different types of master's degrees will be available:

Master of Engineering – 30 hours of course work – intended for currently employed  professionals and individuals not interested in research
Master of Science/Thesis Option – 32 hours of coursework, requires registration in at  least eight hours of research and a student – written thesis
Master of Science/Non-thesis Option – 36 hours of coursework – additional option for  professionals and non-researchers
